"Silent Under the Moon"

This snowy owl painting was done in acrylic on a 9x12 panel. I created this piece to kick off the launch of my monthly print club in January 2026. 

I had a vision in my mind to create something with deep blues with warm hints of orange and yellow throughout the painting. I came up with the idea of a snowy owl sitting in front of a full moon and I was compelled to get the idea out of my head and onto the canvas immediately!

I will forever be proud when I look at this painting because it reminds me of new beginnings. The beginning of a new year as well the beginning of my print club. I was so scared to dive into the deep end and launch my print club after months and months of planning. The idea of taking on another project seemed like too much. But really, the fear of failure almost kept me from starting this. I finally decided to overcome those fears and give it a try and I am so glad I did. Now I get to share my art that I pour my heart and soul into with new friends all over the world. Thank you for being here!
